✦ Choose your airplant design 020 April 2026

Long before Etairnity became what it is today, two of Europe's best-known plant bloggers brought our oak holders into their own homes. Judith de Graaff of JOELIX.com in France and Igor Josifovic of Happy Interior Blog in Germany — co-founders of the Urban Jungle Bloggers community — styled them their own way, and we still return to their photographs for inspiration.
Judith hung Tillandsia Usneoides and Tillandsia Caput Medusae in Etairnity Spheres, a perfect addition to the light-filled space beneath the impressive staircase in her home. It was her first experience with airplants, and she wrote about it in detail on her blog.
Igor chose a slightly different style, placing the funky Tillandsia Bulbosa in Etairnity Discs to complement the Nordic character of his interior. The Discs beside a beautiful round mirror created a curvy, wild aesthetic — you can read his write-up here.
Years on, both interiors still look current — which is rather the point of solid oak. Want to see more ways to style them? Browse our interior inspirations.
